Megan Fox makes me want to play Call of Duty. She probably isn’t the first image you thing of when imagining video games. The movie star and Hollywood bombshell is not only a brand ambassador for the video game franchise, she also plays it. “Call of Duty: Ghosts” – was just released worldwide, and Megan Fox is in a starring role in it’s national commercial.
Fox’s appearance only confirms the epic popularity of the military “Call of Duty” franchise. Originally launched back in 2003, more than 18 billion multiplayer games have been played, according to Activision. However in 2007, the release of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” was when its popularity began to reach a climax. This was the game that saw the setting moved from the World War II settings to a slightly futuristic setting set a few years ahead of modern day.
The commercial has been a big hit, garnering almost nine million views at the time of this post. It’s titled “Epic Night Out,” and features four buddies fighting their way through a crippled Last Vegas. The theme music is poinent, and moving. It is Frank Sinatra’s “I’m Gonna Live Till I Die.” You can hear it playing in the background as a continuation of the “Call of Duty” theme “There’s a Soldier in All of Us,” Variety reports.
About halfway through the video you can see Megan Fox fighting with the boys! She adds a much needed female element to the trailer, let’s be honest, anytime we can see her on camera it’s much needed. She posted the video to her personal Facebook page Saturday, Nov. 2.
The 27-year-old actress is expecting her second child with husband Brian Austin Green, but you could never tell from the video. She looks sexy in a tight-fitted green t-shirt and with her long brown hair down. The star seems to have changed a lot since starring in Transformers a few years back. Motherhood has treated her well, and she seems very down to earth.
